The Water and Waste Operators Association of Maryland, Delaware and District of Columbia
The Water and Waste Operators Association of Maryland, Delaware and District of Columbia (WWOA) represents water, wastewater and biosolids professionals in the Chesapeake Bay region. We are professionals who are dedicated to improving the environment through the advancement of knowledge.
This full day session includes two concurrent process classes for water and wastewater operators. Meet other operators doing just what you do, to learn, network and get those process credits!
Classes offered:
Verifying the Water and Wastewater Process, Instructor: Mike Harrington, MCET: TRE 4301-08-06 (Process) All Operators - 7 hours
Wastewater Treatment - Nutrient Removal, Instructor: George Smith, MCET: TRE 6022-16-11 (Process) Wastewater, Industrial Wastewater - 7 hours
Registration starts at $35 for members and includes breakfast and lunch (crab cakes and fried chicken) - what a bargain! For non-members the cost is $60 and includes a 2025 WWOA membership. Early bird rate expires on April 15, 2025 - be sure to register early!

Often the communities we serve, and our employers do not fully recognize the extraordinary contributions we make on their behalf. Recognition from one's peers is among the greatest compliments a person can receive.
The awards will be announced and presented at the 2025 Tri-Con to take place August 26th thru August 29th at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, MD. The nominee is not required to be present but strongly encouraged to attend and receive the recognition they so deserved. Nominations must be received by June 16, 2025, for consideration.
WWOA is pleased to announce it will award up to sixteen (16) scholarships (four per section) to the 2025 Tri-Association Conference (Tri-Con) which will be held August 26th - August 29th at the Rolan Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, Maryland. You must complete an entry form and submit it to us no later than June 16, 2025, at 4:00pm.
